Nexus Technology

Nexus was a trailblazer in indigenous development of the ERP technology sector. and is currently breaking new ground in the area of ultra scale billing software.

Fast Facts

Implemented the billing system for the AFAM V & VI Power Stations (the largest combined cycle power plant in Nigeria).

Responsible for the Price Aggregation Rules system to be used by the Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria.

Nexus was the first indigenous firm to lead a SAP/R3 implementation. This was at Ibeto Cement in 2003.

Associated with over 45 successful ERP implementations across Africa and the Middle East.

Nexus CMMS and corrosion management technology services are in operation at over 30major energy installations, including Nigeria’s largest gas plant – the Shell Soku plant. Soku processes about 4% of the gas that enters the global LNG market annually.

Value Proposition

Our track record speaks for itself: we have supported the most demanding clients in Operational Assurance projects – providing planning and audit oversight on the commissioning, startup, operations, and maintenance cycle.

Today, process documentation designed and deployed by Nexus Alliance guides and controls the daily operations of several of the largest plant facilities in West Africa. Our input minimizes downtime, maximizes operational efficiency, and maximizes the plant lifecycle – thus delivering significant and quantifiable long-term value to our clients.

In addition, true to our focus on operational excellence, we are recognized as an industry leader in the deployment and management of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

IT and Technology Services

Nexus is focused on helping organizations maximize the realization of value from their operational systems and human capital investments, in response to technology requirements based on business needs.
Nexus engineers and operations specialist can provide major capital “Oil & Gas” projects with “Operations Assurance” services from design stage to construction and commissioning / start up of complex facilities.

Nexus utilizes a proven and structured process to integrate Operations Assurance into major capital projects.

Nexus ensures that Operability, Reliability and Maintainability is the corner stone for its Operations Assurance process.
Nexus Operations Assurance process reduces OPEX (Operating expense) over the life of the facility for a fraction of the cost of the project’s execution. (The cost is often less than 5% of the project cost).

Most importantly, the Nexus Operations Assurance process provides a more predictable operating performance for the life of the facility.

Case Studies

Resource management and Specialist Support Liaison

The BTS was a first of it’s kind world class simulator that is an exact copy of the control room of the Bonga FPSO and Nexus Alliance was contracted to support and maintain the BTS in order to provide retraining for existing operators, training of new operators, scenario testing and process optimization testing. Nexus has full responsibility for the support, operation and maintenance of the BTS at Shell’s training location in Warri, Nigeria.

The BTS represents an integrated assembly of a wide range of technologies.

Nexus works to achieve a process by which parts, materials, and equipment shortages can be predicted -and equipment downtime mitigated while maximising the life of the existing BTS design.

Particular attention is also paid to the terms and conditions attached to the deployment of contributing technologies.

This sometimes finds the Nexus Support Team driving processes that span several organizational boundaries.
